Tucson is in the southeast part of Arizona. As the second largest city in Arizona (second to Phoenix), Tucson's area signified by its arid climates whose economy is focused around tourism, transportation and distribution. Cotton, livestock and precious metals from surrounding areas are often shipped out from the city.

The University of Arizona, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and Raytheon missile factory all employ a significant number of people in the city. Tucson is a significant area of research and academics. Today, there are more than 1,200 businesses employing over 50,000 people in the high-tech industries of Southern Arizona, Tucson movers busy with daily relocations.

History:
Tucson was long inhabited by various Indian groups for thousands of years before any European settlement. Eusebio Francisco Kino first found the area in 1692 and started a mission in 1700. A fort was later built in 1776 by the Spanish. Mexico gained control of Tucson beginning in 1821. The U.S. regained control of the city with the Gadsden Purchase in 1853. During the late 19th century, Tucson was the capital of Arizona. More recently, the city has been growing at a very fast rate. Over the past few decades, it has been one of the fastest growing cities of its size in the United States. It's no wonder so many Tucson moving companies are relocating new residents to the area.

Tourism:
Tucson International Airport is located eight miles from the city. No major professional sports teams are in the area. Parks in Tucson include Tucson Mountain Park and Saguaro National Park. Historical structures in the city include the Old Adobe, Colossal Cave, Fort Lowell, and the San Xavier Mission. Some museums in Tucson include the Pima Air and Space Museum, Titan Missile Museum and Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
