August 31, 2012 - Celebrity real estate sites are buzzing that actor Matt Damon has purchased a home in the affluent neighborhood of Pacific Palisades. The estate was last listed for sale for $15.95 million, while records show he is
moving boxes in after paying just $15 million.
The estate offers 8,890 square feet of living space including six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, as well as some additional celebrity-approved upgrades. Some notable features of the half-acre property include a swimming pool, a spa and luscious landscape, while there is also an office and a gym. It also has mahogany vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling walls of glass.
Damon is best known for his roles in Good Will Hunting, The Departed and the Jason Bourne series. He has also been nominated for three Oscars, one of which he won for the screenplay written directly for Good Will Hunting in 1998.
While it has not been reported if he will be hiring
movers when relocating, his status as one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood means he probably won't overwork himself.
