September 6, 2012 - California fans of the rock band 311 may be happy to hear frontman Nick Hexum is staying in Los Angeles after listing his home for sale. The Los Angeles Times reports he has purchased a home in Topanga, likely using some of the profit from the sale of his Hollywood Hills property.
According to the news source, the singer recently sold his Hollywood home for $1.5 million, significantly more than the $647,000 he paid before moving boxes in back in 1996. The home sits on a quarter acre of land and offers 3,608 square feet of living space including four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
His new, larger Mediterranean-style home is located in Topanga and cost him $1.975 million. The Times reports the 5,000-square-foot house was constructed in 2004 and offers five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Perhaps one of the estate's best features is its views of the mountains and its 10 acres of land.
While it has not been reported if he has already hired
moving services, Hexum may have to take a break from touring to get settled in.
