April 30, 2012 - Celebrity real estate blog The Real Estalker blabs that shoe designer Donald J. Pliner and his wife Lisa are
moving boxes out of their home in Miami Beach which they recently sold it to Paul Cejas, the former ambassador to Belgium.
According to the blog, Pliner purchased the mansion back in 2004 for $11.8 million and originally listed it for sale with a $24 million asking price in March last year. Records show Cejas paid $14.325 million for the estate, which is also known as Villa Stella.
Pliner is best known for his shoe line, which has recently expanded to include a line of accessories as well as handbags. Mrs. Pliner is a model and also helps her husband with designs.
The Real Estalker notes the Moroccan-style home offers over 10,000 square feet of living space including five bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms. Some notable features of the home, including Venetian stucco walls, cherry hardwood floors, high ceilings, arched windows and a library, likely prompted the Cejas to call for
movers.
Since the home is located on Star Island, Cejas will be neighbors with Sean Combs, Gloria Estefan and many other actors, musicians and professional athletes.
