September 19, 2012 - Fans of The Beatles who live in Los Angeles and can afford a pricey mortgage may be excited to hear the former home of John Lennon has been listed for sale. The Los Angeles Times reports that Lennon was staying in the house in the 1970s, right around when it was listed for sale for $225,000 or to lease for $2,500 a month.
According to the news source, the home was last sold in April this year, for the same asking price it has now, $4.2 million. The seller, an international homeowner, was never seen
moving boxes into the home.
The home was constructed in 1965 and offers 4,520 square feet of living space, including four bedrooms and four bathrooms, providing plenty of room for some infamous parties thrown throughout the 1970s.
Along with the home's famous history, The Times notes some features including high ceilings and a close proximity to downtown Los Angeles should prompt buyers to hire a
moving company in no time.
