September 28, 2012 - While retired NFL player Michael Strahan has made some recent leaps on the career front this year, he has also been very active in the real estate market. In the last year, he has managed to sell a $3 million house in Hermosa Beach and list a $1.849 million townhouse in the same city. The Los Angeles Times reports he and his fiancee Nicole Murphy may be calling for
movers once again, as they have recently purchased a home in Bel Air.
Strahan reportedly paid $7.9 million for the Mediterranean-style house that was constructed in 1926. With five bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms, this is bigger than both the 3,291-square-foot house in Hermosa beach they sold and the 2,560-square-foot townhouse that is still in search of buyers.
The Times list some notable features of the home including a screening room that seconds as a bar, a courtyard and an in-home fitness center. A separate guest house also sits on the couple's acre of land, while a swimming pool will likely have friends and family flocking over.
Strahan may be best known for his NFL career, while he later went on to be a Fox football analyst. His most recent gig is replacing Regis on Live! With Kelly, which may have been a motivation to stay in Southern California.
