Animal House star Bruce McGill selling LA home

August 29, 2012 - Celebrity real estate sites are buzzing that actor Bruce McGill will be moving out of his Los Angeles home soon, as it has appeared on the market for sale. Public records show he purchased the home back in 2003 for $1.244 million, but the Ojai-area estate has a slightly higher asking price of $1.675 million.

While McGill can currently be seen on the television series Rizzoli & Isles, he is most famous for his role in the National Lampoon film. He has also worked on numerous other movies including Collateral, Law Abiding Citizen and Vantage Point.

The Spanish-Colonial-styled home was constructed in 1987 and underwent some renovations while owned by the actor. The estate is also located in an equestrian zone, but it has not been reported if there are any horse facilities on the 2-acre property.

With 4,013 square feet of living space, buyers will likely start moving boxes into the five-bedroom, five-bathroom estate soon. Other notable features of the house include a tennis court, a swimming pool, media room, a wine closet and a fire pit outside.
