Hulk Hogan takes considerable loss on home sale

April 18, 2012 - The chance to live in the dwelling of the man behind Hulkamania apparently wasn't enough to help former wrestling icon Hulk Hogan unload his Florida mansion for its original list price when it hit the market in 2006 - or anywhere close to it.

Reports indicate that the Hogan originally listed his Belleair, Florida, property for sale six years ago, asking for roughly $25 million. The final purchase price was less than a quarter of that asking price - a shade more than $6 million - which may make the tough guy shed a few tears.

However, Hogan, or Terry Bollea as he is legally known, technically can consider the sale of his home a win, as reports show the estimated value of the property is really only $5.36 million.

The two-story mansion sits on a very nice piece of land near Clearwater, with a total of 1.5 acres surrounding the residence. Also in the mansion are five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a five-car garage and several fireplaces.

No doubt, the former champ likely will need some auto movers to transplant some of his WWF wrestling memorabilia into storage
