January 20, 2012 - The Wall Street Journal reports that Steven Tyler is gearing up for a
long distance move to a new home in Maui. The property was originally listed by the owner of California's Constant-Diamond Mountain Vineyard in Napa Valley, Fred Constant, for $6.5 million, but Tyler paid just $4.8 million.
Tyler is the well-known frontman of Aerosmith with whom he performed with for over 40 years. More recently, he can be seen as a judge on American Idol.
According to the WSJ, the home sits on a quarter acre of land and offers 3,000 square feet of living space including two bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The property is located right on the water and the home's multiple decks overlook the Maui coastline. The source also says the home has an infinity-edge saltwater pool and a floor-to-ceiling aquarium.
It has not been reported if Tyler will be selling his current home on the mainland but he may be eager to start
moving boxes to his new tropical paradise.
