Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey may be moving to San Francisco

June 21, 2012 - Jack Dorsey, of social media site Twitter, may be calling for moving services as news sources report he has purchased a home in San Francisco.

While his net worth is estimated to be around $750 million, he is believed to have paid just under $10 million for the Bay Area home. It was originally listed with an $18 million asking price in June 2008.

Dorsey, a native to Missouri, is one of three founders of Twitter and also the developer of Square, which allows retailers to accept credit and debit cards via their smartphones.

Located in the neighborhood of Seacliff, the home offers 3,734 square feet of living space including two bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. Some notable features of the sleek house include limestone floors, custom-built cabinetry, granite countertops, upgraded appliances throughout and a 20-foot wide, retractable skylight above the oversized combined living and dining room.

While it has not been confirmed that Dorsey will be the one moving boxes into the home, he has dropped plenty of hints on Twitter that he will be moving to a new home near the ocean.
