April 26, 2012 - Celebrity gossip columns report that television host Joy Behar may be calling for movers, as she recently purchased a home in East Hampton. The estate was originally listed for sale with a $3.29 million asking price but records show she signed in March for $2.875 million.

Behar is best known for her spunky personality on The View talk show but she has also lent her voice to a number of animated films including Ice Age and Family Guy. Together, she and husband Steve Janowitz decided it was time to start moving boxes into a bigger home.

The newly constructed estate sits on just under an acre of land and offers 4,000 square feet of living space including five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. Some notable features of the home that likely inspired Behar to upgrade include the marble flooring, gunite pool and outdoor terraces.

Newsday notes that the television star recently sold her home in Sagaponack, which she listed for $1.25 million back in January.
