February 15, 2012 - The Real Estalker reports actor Matthew McConaughey will soon be
moving boxes into a home just outside of Austin, Texas. The home was originally listed around $7 million but was most recently asking for a much lower price of $4 million, though it has not been reported how much the Hollywood star actually paid.
McConaughey is well-known for his ability to play a variety of characters including funny roles in films such as How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days while also starring in more serious films including The Lincoln Lawyer and A Time to Kill.
The home reportedly purchased by the star sits on nine acres of land, was built in 1998 and has many warm features including a carved wood staircase, according to the site. The Spanish-style estate offers 10,000 square feet of living space including seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Other notable features of the property include tile flooring, multiple terraces, and a separate guesthouse. The news source adds the home also has a courtyard as well as seven boat slips.
It has not been reported if McConaughey and his family have already called for
movers, but they have yet to list their beach house in Malibu for sale.
