Glee creator Ryan Murphy selling Malibu beach house

June 7, 2012 - Following the recent wrap up of season three of Glee, new reports say co-creator Ryan Murphy may be calling for movers, as he recently listed his Malibu home for sale. Records show he purchased the home just last year for $6.563 million and is looking to get $6.995 million for the beach house.

Murphy has also worked on hit television shows Nip/Tuck and American Horror Story. He also wrote and directed the film Eat Pray Love. The house has a history of Hollywood owners, as Murphy purchased the home from Prometheus actress Charlize Theron.

The Mediterranean beach house offers a contemporary style as well as 2,100 square feet of living space including three bedrooms and four bathrooms. Some notable features of the two-story home include a Koi pond, a gourmet kitchen, an outdoor cabana, fire pit and a spa.

While it has not been reported where Murphy will be moving to, he does own a second home in Beverly Hills, which has been host to large fundraising events including a $25,000-per-person fundraising event attended by President Obama.
