August 20, 2012 - Celebrity site TMZ reports actor David Hyde Pierce is
moving boxes out of the Los Angeles home he purchased back in 2003. While records show he purchased the oversized home for $3.625 million, he listed the property for sale in April with a $7.5 million asking price. Despite not getting the full amount, he will likely profit from the $7.05 million sale.
Pierce, a native of New York, is best known for his role as Dr. Niles Crane on the well-known sitcom Frasier. This role earned him multiple Emmy awards for being the best supporting actor in four separate years. He has since had a number of television and film roles in titles such as Nixon and Down with Love, and has lent his voice to a number of animated films including A Bug's Life.
The gated home located in Los Feliz offers 8,184 square feet of living space including seven bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms, according to the source. Photos showcase a large Mediterranean-style home with arched doorways, multiple fireplaces, hardwood floors and views of both the city and canyons.
