June 18, 2012 - Fans of shoe designer Donald Pliner may be excited to hear he and his wife Lisa are
moving boxes into a new Bel Air home. The Los Angeles Times reports the pair purchased the home from Jean Webb Vaughan Smith for $4.26 million, while public records show it was last sold in 1994 for $1.8 million.
Pliner is a well known designer who launched his first line in 1989 and continues to produce quality footwear and accessories while his wife launched her own signature collection in 2010, according to the news source.
The French-style home offers 7,600 square feet of living space including five bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms and a number of upgraded amenities. Some notable features of the house include a step-down living room, a family room complete with a bar, multiple fireplaces and a personal projection room.
While it has not been reported is Pliner has set a move-in date, they may be using
moving services for a smoother process.
