May 14, 2012 - Despite rumors that the home was purchased by girlfriend Blake Lively, celebrity real estate blog The Real Estalker reports that Ryan Reynolds has purchased a large home in rural New York.
Reynolds is best known for his roles in comedic films including The Change-Up, Just Friends and Waiting but has also starred in The Amityville Horror and The Green Lantern. Lively stars in the popular television series Gossip Girl but has also been seen on the big screen in movies such as The Town and was alongside Reynolds in Lantern.
The estate is located in Bedford, an affluent community about an hour away from the busy streets of New York City, and sits on nearly two acres of land. The home offers 4,753 square feet of living space including four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. Reynolds reportedly paid $2.35 million for the home that sits back from prying eyes offering plenty of privacy for the Hollywood couple.
Some major upgrades mentioned in the home's listing that may have Reynolds calling for
moving services include multiple fireplaces, a library and a wrap-around porch. He will also be moving closer to other celebrities including Martha Stewart, Glenn Close and Ralph Lauren.
