April 6, 2012 - After listing his Midtown penthouse for sale just two months ago, real estate site Curbed reports that news reporter Anderson Cooper has found buyers who may be calling for
movers soon. Cooper purchased the home back in 2005 for $2.48 million and the estate is now in contract for somewhere around his asking price of $3.75 million.
Cooper is best known as a journalist and anchor for CNN's Anderson Cooper 360. More recently, he can be seen on his daytime talk show Anderson.
The in-contract home was previously a firehouse before being bought and renovated by Cooper, and offers around 1,700 square feet of living space including two bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. Other celeb-status features of the home include oak floors, satin glass walls, a floating staircase, wood-burning fireplace and large windows with views of the city.
While is has not been reported where Cooper will be
moving boxes to, he will likely stay in New York where his talk show is filmed.
