February 3, 2012 - Former pro baseball player Eric Davis is
moving out of his home in Calabasas, according to The Los Angeles Times. The source says that he purchased the home back in 2001 for $1.65 million but is hoping for a profit as it was listed at $2.195 million.
Davis played with six different teams over his 17 years in the big leagues, finishing his professional baseball career with the San Francisco Giants. More recently he has made the move to the front desk for the Cincinnati Reds, the team he first signed with.
According to The Times, the house was built in 1994 and has a Mediterranean style. The estate offers 7,239 square feet of living space including four bedrooms and six bathrooms. Other features of the home include an office, media room and a wet bar. Outdoor amenities include a swimming pool, spa, half basketball court and a barbecue pavilion, says the source.
Davis and his family will be making a small move as they are reportedly
moving boxes into a more modest, one-story home in the Calabasas area.
